Ry Beville
Ry Beville is the founder and president of the Yokohama-based company Bright Wave Media, which publishes the quarterly journals Japan Beer Times and Sake Today, and produces other digital media content related to Japan. He is also a professor of Japanese literature at the University of California, Berkeley. He has authored the fictional novel What Remains, has published translations of two books of poetry by Nakahara Chuya, and anticipates two new titles of poetry in translation in 2020. He splits his time between California and Japan.
