The high plains town of Greeley, CO might not be the first place you'd expect to find some of the most progressive breweries in the Mountain State. But when I visited Weldwerks Brewing earlier this week, I was reminded of the myriad ways Colorado defies expectations. After a quick bite and a stroll around town, the Weldwerks folks insisted that we head for a few beers at a neighboring brewery, Wiley Roots. "It's just a few yards down the railroad," Weldwerks co-founder Colin Jones said. And so we walked the line in anticipation of our next beer.
